AACE is currently accepting applications for chair of our Program & Project Management Technical Subcommittee. In addition, if you are interested in joining any other technical subcommittee, please feel free to contact Kul Uppal or the chair of the appropriate subcommittee. AACE would like to see all technical subcommittees active in their areas.

As chair of this subcommittee, or any other subcommittee, you will:

• Develop long-range goals and objectives to be submitted to the Technical Board for approval and break down these long-range goals and objectives into short-range projects to be carried out by the subcommittee members.
• Be proactive in the subcommittee’s online community by promoting and encouraging discussions and exchange of information.
• Provide support for the ConEx by encouraging submittal of technical papers, as well as support the technical paper review process.
• Hold a subcommittee meeting during the ConEx.
• Conduct virtual subcommittee meetings throughout the year (typically monthly).
• Promote development of new recommended practices and professional practice guides.
• Submit quarterly reports.
