AACE Sections are recognized annually for their performance as a section based on 10 distinct categories designed to support a healthy, growing section. To qualify for an award, the section must first meet all Section Minimum Standards.

The award levels are based on the following scoring:

• Platinum Award winners score 2000+ points
• Gold Award winners score 1000-1999 points
• Silver Award winners score 700-999 points
• Bronze Award winners score 400-699 points.
