I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and I began my studies in political science at the University of Calgary with plans of becoming a diplomat. At that time, there was a recession, and they weren’t hiring diplomats. So, before finishing my degree, I transferred to engineering and found that I enjoyed it!
