Members of AACE,

It is with great pleasure that I reach out to each of you in my new role as President to share an update on the remarkable progress and achievements of AACE.

As we continue to navigate through the ever-evolving landscape of our sector, I am thrilled to report that AACE continues to achieve successes and growth, which reflect not only the commitment of our intrepid staff, but also the unwavering dedication of our members. Together, we have managed to create a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve, and our journey is a testament to the power of collaboration, compassion, and shared purpose.

In the upcoming year, the Board of Directors and AACE staff are working toward:

• Expanded Outreach: We’re connecting with new members, corporate partners, supporters, and volunteers who share our passion for cost engineering. This increased collaboration will not only broaden our network but also amplify our impact.
• Member Engagement and Inclusion: The heart of AACE lies within our dedicated members. Your involvement, passion, and expertise have been instrumental in driving our organization forward. We’ve witnessed a surge in member engagement, which has not only enriched our projects but also strengthened the sense of community. In addition, over the coming months, our volunteers and staff working on our DEI initiatives will start to identify ways in which we can ensure that we are the inclusive organization that our members deserve.
• Education: Our webinars, seminars, regional symposiums, and the annual Conference & Expo continue to offer the best-in-class technical content available for cost engineering. The volunteers and staff who continually contribute to this content are working to develop new and effective ways to get our technical knowledge in front of eager new (and potential) members.
• Fiscal Responsibility: We have maintained a steadfast commitment to financial responsibility, ensuring that every dollar is utilized effectively and transparently. Our prudent financial management enables us to channel resources where they are needed most, maximizing the value of each contribution.
• Adaptive Innovation: In a world that constantly presents new challenges, AACE has demonstrated remarkable adaptability. Our ability to pivot and innovate in response to changing circumstances has allowed us to continue making a meaningful difference, regardless of the hurdles we face. This year, our headquarters staff are working on implementing new technology that will make AACE more efficient and effective than ever.

These achievements would not be possible without the combined efforts of our staff and volunteers, who are dedicated to working to serve AACE’s membership. Let’s carry this momentum forward. As we set our sights on the future, I encourage each of you to continue contributing your unique talents, insights, and energy to help us reach even greater heights.
